Solana Surges Past Ethereum on Fees, But Can It Convert to Lasting Gains?
Solana's network activity has reached new heights in September, generating $23.58 million in fees over 30 days, almost twice as much as Ethereum's $12.04 million.
However, Ethereum still holds a significant lead in capital depth, with $51.53 billion in DeFi TVL and $146.94 billion in stablecoins, compared to Solana's $6.13 billion and $15.40 billion respectively.
Kyle Samani, co-founder of Multicoin Capital, believes that Solana can surpass Ethereum in market cap during this cycle, citing current activity as a key factor in his prediction.
But the question remains: will Solana's high fees translate to lasting token demand and adoption?
