Solana Surpasses 1 Million Tokenized Equity Holders
Solana's tokenized equity holders have reached an unprecedented milestone of over 1 million wallets, marking a significant surge in on-chain activity. This achievement is all the more remarkable given that just two years ago, this concept would have seemed like science fiction.
The network has established itself as the dominant force in tokenized equities, accounting for nearly 95% of market share in on-chain tokenized equity activity. Its rapid growth can be attributed to a combination of factors, including new listings and integrations with platforms like Pump.fun.
One notable example is NVDAx, a tokenized representation of NVIDIA shares, which leads the pack in holder count among Solana's tokenized equities. The addition of Nike's tokenized equity listing has also broadened the appeal beyond tech-heavy portfolios.
However, it's essential to note that wallet counts measure addresses, not verified unique individuals. One person can hold multiple wallets, and incentive programs can inflate the numbers. Despite this caveat, the figures tell a more grounded story, with a total supply of $684 million in tokenized equities and a 30-day real-world asset transaction volume of $3.3 billion.
