The Solana blockchain is challenging Ethereum's dominance in on-chain activity across several key metrics. According to data from TradingView, Solana recorded $16.61 billion in seven-day decentralized exchange (DEX) volume, outpacing Ethereum's $9.03 billion over the same period.

Solana also led in perpetual trading volume and transaction intensity, with 3.04 million active addresses compared to Ethereum's 599,384. However, Ethereum maintains a significant advantage in stablecoin liquidity, with approximately $146.94 billion compared to Solana's $15.40 billion.

The data highlights two different growth engines at work in the blockchain space. Solana is focusing on driving high-frequency transactions and application-driven demand, while Ethereum continues to anchor the broader on-chain economy through its established DeFi infrastructure.
