Solana's Double Disinflation Proposal Gathers Momentum with 39% Support
A governance proposal on Solana's blockchain aims to slash emissions and alter tokenomics. The Double Disinflation plan needs 43.27 million SOL in backing before it can move to a full community vote.
The proposal currently has 16.93 million SOL, about 39.1% of the required threshold. This represents meaningful support from stakeholders, but still leaves a majority of the required threshold outstanding.
The Solana governance structure allows stakeholders to propose and vote on adjustments to token issuance, such as emissions reduction.
