Solana's Upgrade Falls Flat, AlphaPepe Steals the Show
Solana's network capacity has increased by 232% thanks to its Transaction V1 format upgrade, which raises the maximum transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes. This improvement allows developers to pack more into a single transaction and supports complex operations like multisignature wallets and zero-knowledge proofs.
While this upgrade is significant for the development community, it may not necessarily drive token demand or prices. Solana's market value is in the tens of billions, making it unlikely to experience 100x returns without substantial new capital inflows.
AlphaPepe, a meme coin and AI project, is catching attention with its presale priced at $0.0308. The project has raised over $2.76 million from more than 11,800 holders and is locked in for a listing price of $0.08 on four exchanges.
AlphaPepe's unique selling point is its AI-assisted decentralized exchange (DEX), which checks tokens for risk and flags trend signals before trading. The project has a fixed supply of one billion tokens with 400 million locked on-chain, and no team or VC allocation in the supply.
