Soluna Completes 83MW Bitcoin Hosting Site in Texas, Boosts Capacity to 206MW
Soluna Holdings has completed its 83 MW Bitcoin-hosting site in Texas, known as Project Kati 1. The final 14 megawatts were energized on September 8, marking the end of the first phase of a planned 166 MW computing campus.
The milestone boosts Soluna's total operating capacity to approximately 206 MW. According to an update from the company, every phase of Kati 1 was delivered on schedule and within budget. The infrastructure costs remained consistent with initial projections.
Kati 1 is a Bitcoin-hosting facility powered by the Las Majadas wind project in Willacy County, Texas. A co-mining agreement with Bitdeer announced in August has now been implemented, with equipment being delivered and deployed.
