Sony and DayOneDream Join Forces to Tokenize K-Pop Intellectual Property

Share

K-pop entertainment company DayOneDream is partnering with Sony's Soneium blockchain to tokenize K-pop intellectual property (IP) and expand into global markets.

The two companies announced a partnership centered on DayOneDream's K-pop IP tokenization platform 'WAVIST' to extend K-pop IP on-chain. WAVIST combines K-pop artist and concert IP assets with real-world asset tokenization capabilities from Soneium's global blockchain ecosystem.

The collaboration aims to create new pathways for K-content IP to reach users worldwide, while providing IP holders with additional means to realize the value of their assets. This effectively creates a new way for fans and users to access and participate in the IP they support.
