Stablecoin Deployments Surge Past 700 as Market Capitalization Hits New High
The RWA Foundation's latest quarterly report has revealed that there are now 717 stablecoin deployments, according to its Market Structure Reports. This figure is significantly higher than the number of distinct stablecoin assets, which stands at around 189-193.
One reason for this discrepancy is that each deployment represents a single instance of a stablecoin running on a particular blockchain, such as Ethereum or Solana. The Foundation tracks issuers across multiple chains and provides information on regulatory details and market flows through its platform rwa.xyz.
The combined market capitalization of stablecoins has been estimated to be between $298.8 billion and $301.4 billion, while the total stablecoin supply is reported at around $302.5 billion. This represents modest growth compared to earlier periods.
USDT and USDC still dominate the stablecoin market, but notable 30-day inflows have been observed into USDC, USDS, and RLUSD. The Foundation's tracking of tokenized assets extends beyond stablecoins to cover tokenized funds, credit, commodities, and equities, with more than 10,000 tokenized assets referenced across this broader universe.
