Stacks Price Surges 28% as Muneeb Ali Returns to Lead Institutional Bitcoin Staking Push
Stacks (STX) price has surged over 28% following co-founder Muneeb Ali's return as CEO of Stacks Labs. This development comes as the project shifts its focus from building to scaling its institutional Bitcoin staking product. The Genesis Bond, which had bonded approximately 230 BTC and 310,000 STX by September 24, has already exceeded expectations.
The next institutional staking round is set to open on October 10 with a capacity of 500 BTC, more than twice the initial launch. Around 10% of this capacity will be reserved for pools, while participants can use Anchorage Digital's self-custodial route to participate in the Stacks program.
With STX currently trading around $0.36-$0.38, the token is testing its resistance zone near $0.40. According to technical analysis, a sustained move beyond this zone could open up new upside targets at $0.414-$0.42, $0.45, and $0.50.
Ali has identified increasing Bitcoin capital on Stacks and expanding institutional adoption as priorities for the project. As Stacks moves into its next growth phase, technical holds and adoption will remain key drivers of STX's price performance.
