Standard Chartered's Altcoin Coverage Yields Significant Gains
Standard Chartered's coverage of several altcoins has led to significant gains in their prices. The bank's analysts have been tracking the performance of various tokens since June, and their predictions have proven accurate so far.
Uniswap (UNI) was one of the top performers, with a 210% increase to $8.85 after coverage began on June 16. Aave (AAVE) also showed strong growth, rising by 122% to $160 after its own coverage on June 23.
The bank's other coverage has also yielded positive results. Morpho was up about 34% at $2.56 after July 1 coverage, while Chainlink (LINK) had gained about 74% to $14.26 after August 10 coverage. Sky (SKY) was up about 38% at $0.0819 after September 11 coverage.
Standard Chartered set target prices for these assets in their reports, including a 2030 target of $100 for UNI and $3,500 for AAVE. They also highlighted the importance of decentralized finance revenue, token repurchases, and the expansion of real-world assets and stablecoins in driving the value of these tokens.
