Stellar's $4B RWA Milestone Leaves XLM Largely Unchanged
The Stellar network has reached a milestone of $4 billion in Real World Assets (RWA), but its native cryptocurrency XLM hasn't seen the same surge in value. Since last year, the RWA market on Stellar's network has nearly quadrupled.
This growth can be attributed to several well-known bond issuers joining the party, including Franklin Templeton, WisdomTree, and PayPal's PYUSD stablecoin. However, despite this significant increase in tokenized assets, XLM's price has dropped 50% over the past year and has added another 12% deficit Year-To-Date (YTD).
The biggest contributors to this RWA market growth are Spiko, Realiz, Tradable, Ondo, and Franklin Templeton. Spiko, in particular, has seen an astonishing increase from 'basically nothing' to $1.5 billion in 2026 alone.
