Strategy Acquires 1,665 BTC for $744 Million, Expands Reserve to 847,666 Units

Strategy, a company led by Michael Saylor, has announced the purchase of 1,665 BTC for approximately $744 million, expanding its Bitcoin reserve to 847,666 units.

The acquisition took place between September 21 and 27 at an average price of $85,681 per BTC, including fees and expenses. This operation brings Strategy's total investment in Bitcoin to around $63.95 billion, with a cumulative cost of approximately $75,437 per unit.

The funds for this purchase were obtained through the sale of its ordinary shares MSTR. In the last week, Strategy sold 1,469,165 shares, raising $246.2 million in liquid capital. Of that amount, $142.7 million was allocated to Bitcoin purchases.
