Strategy Doubles Down on Bitcoin with Record Purchase

Strategy, the largest publicly traded corporate holder of Bitcoin, has made its latest acquisition by purchasing 1,665 more tokens. The company revealed that it bought the BTC between September 21 and September 27 at an average price of $85,681 per token.

The purchase raised Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 847,666 BTC, which is more than 4% of Bitcoin's maximum supply of 21 million tokens. Including fees and expenses, the company's cumulative Bitcoin purchases total about $64 billion, with an average purchase price of $75,437.

Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor stated that the company's Bitcoin holdings are now valued at about $70.6 billion, giving it roughly $6.6 billion in unrealized gains.
