Strive Adds 1,107 BTC to Treasury, Valued at $2.3 Billion
Strive Asset Management has added another batch of Bitcoin to its growing treasury. Between September 21 and 25, the company acquired 1,107 BTC for approximately $94.5 million at an average price of $85,396 per coin.
This purchase brings Strive's total holdings past 27,000 coins, valued at around $2.3 billion based on Friday's closing price of $83,943. The company has been steadily increasing its Bitcoin stash over the past few weeks, with this latest addition being slightly smaller than the previous week's haul.
The majority of Strive's capital for these purchases comes from its SATA variable-rate perpetual preferred stock, which accounts for 85% of total capital raised recently. This funding structure allows the company to raise fresh capital without diluting common shareholders. Warrant exercises also generated $12.4 million during this period.
Strive's cash reserves have grown by $19.2 million, bringing its total cash holdings to $248.8 million. This increase in liquidity provides flexibility for the company as it continues to commit large sums to Bitcoin acquisitions.
