Strive CEO Predicts Bitcoin at $500,000 by 2030
Matt Cole, CEO of Strive, Inc. (ASST), predicts Bitcoin could reach $500,000 by the end of 2030, nearly six times its current price of $86,000. In an interview with What Bitcoin Did, Cole outlined his bullish long-term outlook, suggesting a new Bitcoin bull market within the next 18 months, driven by a weaker U.S. dollar.
Cole described Bitcoin's 2024-2025 rally as "a very disappointing bull market," noting that it failed to outperform gold. He emphasized that Bitcoin should have been the best-performing asset as an emerging form of money. Despite this, he expects the next bull market to be "substantially better" than the previous one, with a milder downturn, about a 50% drop compared to the 80% declines seen in past cycles.
Strive's thesis anticipates about 50% compound annual growth for Bitcoin, potentially returning it to its all-time high by late 2027. Cole warned investors against focusing too much on short-term gains, highlighting how returns build over time. He also noted that the U.S. debt load could lead to a significant devaluation of the dollar, further boosting Bitcoin's appeal.
ASST stock rose over 1% in pre-market trading, forming a golden cross in early September when its 50-day moving average moved above the 200-day moving average. Despite this bullish signal, retail sentiment around ASST remained in the ‘bearish’ zone on Stocktwits.
