Strive VP Warns AI Could Make Earning Bitcoin Harder

Strive Vice President Joe Burnett warns that superintelligent artificial intelligence could complicate earning Bitcoin (BTC) through traditional labor. He argues that AI could reduce the scarcity of labor, making it harder for people to accumulate capital and acquire scarce assets like Bitcoin.

Burnett previously believed exchanging other assets for Bitcoin was always worthwhile, but he now sees AI as a new factor that could change that dynamic. He predicts a significant decline in labor scarcity over the next five to ten years, which could make earning capital more challenging.

He also noted that nearly all 21 million Bitcoin may have been mined within that same timeframe, further emphasizing the asset's scarcity. Despite these challenges, Bitcoin's scarcity is expected to remain a defining characteristic.
