Succinct and Chainlink Roll Out ZK Security for Cross-Chain Interoperability
Succinct has partnered with Chainlink to enhance the security of cross-chain transfers for institutional investors. The companies have rolled out a new zero-knowledge (ZK) verification module for Chainlink's CCIP 2.0 protocol, which enables secure transfers between Ethereum and other EVM networks.
The ZK verification module is built on SP1 Helios, Succinct's ZK-powered Ethereum light client, which generates verifiable proofs directly on the destination chain. This adds an extra layer of security to high-value transactions, making it more difficult for hackers to intercept or manipulate funds.
The integration is currently available on testnet between Ethereum Sepolia and Arbitrum Sepolia lanes. The adjusted stablecoin volume has surpassed $8.8 trillion in the first half of 2026, while tokenized real-world assets have reached $38 billion, a 400% increase from early 2025 levels.
The rising number of bridge hacks has led to significant losses exceeding $3.6 billion, making cryptographic verification a priority for institutional capital operating on-chain. Succinct aims to deliver this level of security with its ZK-powered solution.
