XRP Sentiment Hits Lowest Level Since August Amid Bearish Comments
XRP's social sentiment has hit its lowest level since August as bearish comments dominate discussions. According to Santiment, the XRP bullish-to-bearish commentary ratio fell to 0.67, indicating that for every 100 pessimistic remarks, there are only about 67 optimistic ones.
This shift in crowd emotion marks a significant change from the previous sentiment levels. In fact, XRP's reading was weaker than ether's 0.89 ratio, which also turned negative but showed a smaller imbalance between optimistic and pessimistic discussion.
Santiment views this contrarian setup as an opportunity for investors to consider buying into XRP despite the prevailing bearish mood. However, the company cautions that neither asset is guaranteed to bounce immediately and warns of persistent holder losses, with XRP's average unrealized return at minus 11.75% for coins active within the past year.
