SUI Token Release Nears $10M Milestone with Upcoming Unlock

The decentralized ecosystem of SUI is about to see a significant token release on August 1. According to Onchain Lens, this will unlock tokens worth $9.76 million, which represents a total of 13.72 million SUI coins.

This release includes 7.65 million for early contributors, 4 million for the community reserve, and 2.07 million for Mysten Labs Treasury. The past month has seen four separate events that have already unlocked 22.6 million tokens worth about $16.1 million.

The vesting plan of SUI's total token release is now 40.6% complete, with the largest allocation going to 'Others' at 52.2%, followed by 'Community' at 26.0%, and then 'Private Investors' at 14.1%.
