Sun Sues Trump-Backed Crypto Venture Over Frozen Holdings
Crypto billionaire Justin Sun has sued World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture backed by President Donald Trump's family.
Sun claims that World Liberty privately installed tools to freeze his holdings in WLFI's digital tokens after they became tradable in September 2025.
The lawsuit also alleges that the company threatened to 'burn,' or permanently delete, Sun's holdings while they were still in his digital wallet.
Sun bought $45 million of World Liberty tokens and was named an adviser to the Trump family's cryptocurrency venture last year.
