Super League Secures $2.3M Through First ATM Offering
Super League Enterprise has successfully completed its first at-the-market (ATM) stock offering, raising approximately $2.23 million in gross proceeds by selling 475,598 shares.
The company's ATM program, facilitated by The Benchmark Company and StoneX Financial, allows for the sale of up to $4.5 million in common stock at prevailing market prices.
Metaplanet, a Japanese treasury company, has agreed to contribute 2,100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash to Super League as part of its proposed investment. The deal will give Metaplanet a controlling interest in the U.S.-based company and make it the parent entity.
After closing, Super League is expected to rebrand as Superplanet and trade on Nasdaq under the ticker SUPA. The new entity will provide U.S. investors with access to a Bitcoin treasury through its listed shares, allowing for potential use of BTC as collateral for perpetual preferred-stock offerings.
