Tate Bets Big on Meme Coins and GameStop to Take Down Wall Street
Controversial social media personality Andrew Tate has announced that he is investing $500,000 in meme coins and GameStop stocks to target a hedge fund manager who allegedly stands to lose billions if GameStop's price holds steady. According to Tate, the hedge fund manager could see losses of up to $13 billion if GameStop opens at its current price tomorrow.
Tate claims that he is taking advantage of the market volatility caused by the return of Roaring Kitty, a social media influencer who played a key role in the 2021 GameStop stock surge. The influencer's reappearance on Twitter has led to a brief doubling of GameStop's price and a 1,900% surge in a Solana-based tribute coin also named GME.
Tate, known for his provocative statements, claims that he is willing to lose the entire investment if it means taking down Wall Street. He says that he has already cashed out $500,000 in Bitcoin and is putting it all into high-leverage stocks. 'I'm taking Wall Street down, watch me,' Tate said.
