Telegram has been reinstated on Apple's App Store after a temporary ban over child safety violations. The messaging service swiftly removed the offending content and permanently banned the user responsible.

The Gram cryptocurrency, tied to Telegram's ecosystem, initially declined by approximately 6.4% during early trading hours but subsequently recovered to nearly $1.40 once Apple reversed its decision.

Apple cited a policy breach for the temporary ban, stating that its compliance team discovered material that breached App Store policies regarding child sexual abuse content.

Tech giant Epic Games leader Tim Sweeney criticized Apple's authority over worldwide app distribution, calling it 'monopolistic.' Meanwhile, Telegram faces escalating international legal battles in Russia, France, and Australia over allegations of enabling terrorist operations, organized criminal networks, and extremist material.
