Tether Fuels Global Lending with $400M StableFund
Tether and Fasanara Capital have launched a private credit fund called StableFund, which aims to utilize USDT for cross-border lending. The firms are committing $400 million to the fund, with plans to raise up to $3 billion from institutional investors.
The fund will provide financing across global markets using USDT to move capital between countries. Fasanara Capital will manage the fund and offer short-term, asset-backed loans through fintech platforms in over 60 countries.
The target market for StableFund includes small businesses and consumers who often struggle to access traditional financing. Tether will identify lending opportunities involving USDT and support cross-border transfers.
