The Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has updated its draft for spot Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs), rethinking foreign custodianship requirements.

This decision follows a five-day streak of inflows into Solana ETFs, which have added $33.5 million to reach $1.22 billion in cumulative net inflows, surpassing XRP's SOL.

In other news, Bitcoin briefly touched the $80,000 mark for the first time since May before easing back below $79,000. This move triggered a sharp derivatives unwind, with CoinGlass data showing roughly $452 million in crypto short positions liquidated over 24 hours.
