Thailand is taking another step towards embracing cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ether by drafting rules for Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) tracking these assets.

The move comes after years of regulatory uncertainty, with Thailand's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) proposing the new guidelines on October 17th. The proposed rules aim to provide a clear framework for ETF issuers and investors alike.

While the SEC has not specified which specific cryptocurrencies will be allowed in the ETFs, it is expected that Bitcoin and Ether, two of the largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, will be included.
