Three Big Crypto Projects to Unlock $1.11 Billion in Tokens Next Week

Three major cryptocurrency projects, Hyperliquid (HYPE), Ethena (ENA), and Aptos (APT), will unlock significant new token supplies in early October 2026. The total value of these token unlocks is approximately $1.11 billion. The releases could introduce market volatility and impact short-term price movements.

On October 6, Hyperliquid will unlock 3.75 million HYPE tokens, worth around $340 million. This represents 1.69% of the released supply. The team has announced that the unlocked tokens will go to one institutional buyer.

Ethena will release 171.88 million ENA tokens on October 5. The tokens are worth approximately $41.52 million and account for 1.88% of the released supply. Ethena will award 93.75 million ENA tokens to core contributors and 78.13 million tokens to investors.

Aptos will unlock 11.31 million APT tokens on October 11, worth around $9.06 million. This represents 0.64% of the released supply. The team will award 3.96 million APT tokens to core contributors, 3.21 million to the community, 2.81 million to investors, and 1.33 million to the Aptos foundation.
