TRON DAO Leads Discussion on Tokenization and Real World Assets in Seoul
TRON DAO took center stage at Korea Blockchain Week 2026 in Seoul, moderating a panel on the growth of Real World Assets (RWAs). The event, held from September 30 to October 1, gathered industry leaders to discuss how tokenization could democratize access to financial assets globally. Sam Reynolds, TRON DAO's Research Manager, led the conversation with speakers from Tether, PancakeSwap, and the Jito Foundation.
Reynolds highlighted the potential of tokenization to break down geographical barriers in investment. 'Where someone lives still determines much of what they can invest in. Tokenization has the potential to change that,' he noted. The panel explored how stablecoins, particularly USDT on the TRON blockchain, have set a precedent for tokenized dollars, with TRON hosting the majority of the world's USDT volume.
The discussion covered the challenges of making tokenized assets accessible, tradable, and useful across borders while building liquidity and investor confidence. TRON DAO emphasized its role in expanding access to financial assets beyond stablecoins, reflecting its commitment to real-world applications of blockchain technology.
