Trump Discloses Up to $100,000 Strategy Stock Purchase Amid Crypto Policy Push
US President Donald Trump has disclosed purchasing up to $100,000 of Strategy shares in July, as his administration pushes for digital-asset policy. The transaction on July 27 was the largest crypto-linked purchase identified in a filing released Tuesday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.
The filing reports that Trump bought between $50,001 and $100,000 of Strategy stock on July 27, matching his largest previously disclosed Strategy purchase made on February 12. Additionally, he reported a purchase valued at $1,001 to $15,000 on July 24.
Strategy is the world's largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, with 846,000 BTC. The filing also includes a Coinbase purchase and sales of MARA Holdings and CleanSpark shares.
The White House stated that Trump's stock and bond portfolio is independently managed by third-party financial institutions without input from Trump or his family.
