Trump Warns Iran: Reopen Strait of Hormuz or Face Massive Attack
US President Donald Trump said in an interview that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen 'very soon' or Iran will face a massive attack, as negotiations between the US, Iran, and Oman near a deal to suspend tolls and transit fees for 60 days. The agreement aims to clear naval mines from the waterway within 30 days.
Trump made these comments after canceling a planned massive attack on Iran following requests by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. He stated that 'They know that; they understand that. I have no choice. They can't have a nuclear weapon. It's very simple.'
The Strait of Hormuz has been closed due to ongoing war between the US and Iran, causing oil prices to fall further. However, Bitcoin price rose above $64K, up 2% in the past 24 hours.
