Trump's $2.2 Billion Windfall Fuels Corruption Allegations
President Donald Trump has made over $2.2 billion in his first year back in office, a sum unprecedented for any previous president. Much of this wealth comes from a murky crypto venture and foreign real estate deals.
Trump's family has launched numerous Trump-branded products, including Bibles, cologne, gold high-top sneakers, golf shoes, work boots, watches, and guitars. They have also announced at least nine deals worth more than $50 billion in the Middle East and other regions.
The White House maintains that the president's focus is on public service, but critics argue that his actions blur the line between private profiteering and public policy.
Trump has also received little pushback from Republican lawmakers and conservative media outlets, who once championed his calls to 'drain the swamp.'
