Trump's AI Ambitions Spark Crypto Slump
President Donald J. Trump has sparked a mixed reaction in the crypto market with his recent announcements on AI.
In a poll posted on Truth Social, Trump asked voters to rename Artificial Intelligence, suggesting three alternatives: Superior Intelligence (SI), Extreme Intelligence (EI), and Supreme Intelligence (SI).
The poll, which closes in one day, has already gathered 57,122 votes. Trump believes that the current name is inaccurate and 'ineloquent', and that a more elegant and accurate name would be suitable for this growing phenomenon.
Additionally, Trump announced the creation of an 'AI Force' and stated that AI could make up 25% of US GDP. He also mentioned the formation of an AI 'Czar', who must have high IQ to apply, and the naming of a new AI-related position similar to the Space Force.
The announcements seem to have had a negative impact on the crypto market, with both Trump Coin and MAGA coin experiencing significant price drops. Trump Coin fell 2.1% to $2.01, while MAGA coin lost 14.1% in a week.
