Trump's Crypto Empire Grows to $1.4 Billion as He Pursues 'Crypto Capital' Ambitions
US President Donald Trump's crypto ventures have grown significantly in 2026, according to his annual financial disclosure report. The report shows that Trump's private business ventures have become one of his largest disclosed income streams, with a total of $1.4 billion in reported income from family crypto ventures.
The majority of this income comes from World Liberty Financial, a company launched by Trump in September 2024 as its co-founder emeritus. The project sells WLFI governance tokens and has also launched USD1, a dollar-backed stablecoin that reached $4.6 billion in circulation by mid-June. Additionally, subsidiary WLTC Holdings applied for an OCC national trust bank charter covering USD1 issuance, redemption, and custody.
Trump's meme coin business is another significant income source, with CIC Digital LLC generating over $600 million from Trump-branded meme coin activity through royalty payments. The company also held at least $60 million worth of cryptocurrencies in digital wallets.
