Trump's Crypto Windfall: President Makes Billions Amid Global Negotiations
U.S. President Donald Trump's personal fortune has grown significantly during his second term in office, with earnings from cryptocurrency and crypto-related businesses making up a large portion of those gains.
In 2024, Trump made approximately $600 million, but that number jumped to over $2.2 billion in his first year of his second term. The majority of these earnings came from investments in cryptocurrency and related businesses.
Trump's financial disclosures also reveal millions earned from real estate and golf deals, many of which are located in foreign countries where the U.S. government is currently negotiating with their governments.
In addition to these gains, Trump received $117 million in legal settlements during this time period.
