Tusk Faces Complaint Over Alleged Disclosure of Sensitive Crypto Investigation Details

Polish opposition lawmakers have filed a complaint against Prime Minister Donald Tusk over allegations that he disclosed confidential information about an investigation into the Zondacrypto cryptocurrency exchange.

According to Law and Justice MP Michał Wos, the prime minister may have committed a crime by sharing details from the witness's testimony during a press conference on September 4.

Tusk had previously stated that he received permission from the prosecutor general to review the case files and make the information public in the interest of society and citizens, as allowed under Article 12 of the Law on the Prosecutor’s Office.

However, opposition members claim that Tusk's actions violated Article 12, paragraphs 1 and 2, of the same law, which prohibits the disclosure of confidential investigation materials.
