UK Cracks Down on Unregistered Crypto Traders as Germany Leads Adoption

The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has launched a major crackdown on unregistered cryptocurrency traders in London, conducting raids on several entities.

Meanwhile, Germany is accelerating its adoption of cryptocurrencies, with 89 licensed crypto-asset service providers listed in the ESMA MiCA register, accounting for 25.5% of companies registered there.

The FCA's regulatory perimeter guidance for crypto firms has been published ahead of authorization applications opening on September 30.
