Ukraine Exposes Crypto Scam Worth Over $655,000

Ukrainian law enforcement has exposed a cryptocurrency scam worth more than $655,000. The suspect convinced the victim to invest in crypto assets for passive income, which were then converted and transferred to wallets under his control.

The suspect provided the victim with wallet details, but investigators found that the funds were actually sent to accounts controlled by him. He then moved the assets across various services, making it harder to track their origin and movement.

As part of international cooperation, a search was carried out in Prague, where the suspect's residence is located. Law enforcement seized computer equipment, mobile terminals, data storage devices, hardware cryptocurrency wallets, handwritten notes, payment cards, and financial documents.
