UNI Breakout Sees Fresh Resistance Levels Ahead
After years of price compression, Uniswap's token (UNI) has finally broken out of its descending triangle pattern and is looking at a potential accumulation period. The Q3 2026 rally saw UNI surge from $2.35 to $10.85, breaking free from the long-running pattern.
The next hurdles for UNI are already visible, with resistance levels around $12.30, followed by $15.10 and $17.50 this year. However, it's worth noting that a breakout doesn't always happen in a straight line, and UNI could potentially face consolidation or even a deeper pullback if it fails to flip the $12.30 level.
On a more positive note, Uniswap's usage has been rising, with Uniswap V4 capturing 50% of Ethereum DEX volume across Uniswap V2, V3, V4 and Curve, up from 31% in August 2025. This increased usage adds another layer to the UNI price story and could potentially support further gains.
