$UNI Price Rally Faces Key Resistance as Uniswap Usage Rises
After years of compression, Uniswap's token price has finally broken free from its bearish grip. The $UNI token was stuck under a descending dynamic trendline since its peak at $45 in 2021, forming a descending triangle.
The Q3 2026 rally marked a significant turning point for the token. It surged from $2.35 to $10.85, breaking out of the long-running pattern and entering a potential accumulation phase.
However, this breakout comes with challenges. The next resistance levels are already visible at $12.30, followed by $15.10 and $17.50 this year. If $UNI fails to flip $12.30, consolidation could drag on, with price fluctuations below that level, potentially even sending the token toward $8.25 and $6.35 before buyers attempt another push.
Uniswap's usage has also been rising, adding another layer of bullish signals for the $UNI price story. Uniswap V4 now captures 50% of Ethereum DEX volume across Uniswap V2, V3, V4, and Curve, up from 31% in August 2025.
For $UNI to reach its full potential, it needs to prove it can hold its gains. The breakout has happened, but the token still faces significant resistance before it can aim for bigger targets.
