Uniswap Brings Trading Stack to Circle's Stablecoin-Focused Blockchain
Uniswap's entire trading stack has been deployed to Arc, the Layer-1 blockchain built by Circle for stablecoin settlement. This includes Uniswap's v4 automated market maker, liquidity pools, swap routing, and a full developer SDK and API.
The integration was first announced on June 15, 2026, and went live alongside Arc's public mainnet launch on September 16, 2026. For a blockchain focused on stablecoins, this is a significant move, with Uniswap responsible for $4.4 trillion in all-time trading volume.
Arc is designed to optimize stablecoin transactions by making them the native asset class. It supports direct 1:1 swaps between major stablecoins like USDC, USDS, and DAI. Circle launched a public testnet in October 2025, which saw over 100 partners participate, including Curve and Aave.
Uniswap's v4 release introduced 'hooks,' a modular system that lets developers customize pool behavior without forking the entire protocol. With this deployment, Uniswap is positioning itself as core infrastructure on Arc, giving developers programmatic access to its routing engine.
