Uniswap Expands Ecosystem with Pools.trade Launch on Robinhood Chain
Uniswap has taken its ecosystem to the next level by launching Pools.trade on Robinhood Chain, expanding its role beyond just a trading environment. The new platform allows users to create and trade new cryptocurrencies in a single interface.
Pools.trade offers two main formats: a collective launch lasting four hours or an instant launch. After this stage, liquidity is automatically directed to Uniswap v4 pools and remains permanently locked.
This move reinforces Uniswap's presence within Robinhood Chain, which already supports different versions of the protocol, including tools like UniswapX, its own wallet, web app, and API.
According to Santiment data released on August 6, tokens such as FRONG and POOLS have gained prominence among traders. The market's initial moves show that FRONG has been treated by part of the community as a possible token associated with the launch, even without official confirmation from Uniswap.
The PONS token recorded a drop of nearly 14% in 24 hours, with a weekly decline of nearly 48%. Meanwhile, UNI token balances on exchanges fell 15.7% over the last month, while its price accumulated a rise of about 47% since the beginning of July.
