Uniswap Launches Earn, Powered by Morpho, for Idle Asset Yield
Uniswap Labs has partnered with Morpho to launch Uniswap Earn, a new product on the Uniswap App that allows users to earn yield on their idle assets. This feature is powered by Morpho, an open credit network that connects lenders and borrowers in on-chain credit markets.
According to Uniswap, many traders hold digital assets that sit idle, and this product changes that by letting users put those balances to work directly inside the app they already use. The process involves depositing into Morpho Vaults, which are curated by Gauntlet and integrated natively into the Uniswap interface.
Three Morpho Vaults - USDC, USDT, and ETH - are currently available for integration. Users can deposit their assets into these vaults, where capital is allocated to underlying lending markets on Morpho and made available to borrowers. The interest paid by borrowers is the yield earned by depositors.
Anthony Beshay, Staff Product Manager at Uniswap, said that 'Uniswap was built to give people open, direct access to on-chain markets and Earn is a natural next step.' He added that it gives users a simple way to put their assets to work without needing to manage concentrated liquidity positions.
Paul Frambot, Co-Founder and CEO of Morpho, commented that 'Uniswap is one of the most recognized names in crypto, and we're proud to power Earn for their users.' He emphasized that every integration like this strengthens Morpho's open network, making it a stronger option for other wallets, exchanges, or fintech companies.
