Uniswap Proposes Extending Protocol Fees to Arc Blockchain

Uniswap Labs has proposed extending its protocol fees to Arc, another blockchain network. The proposal covers Uniswap v2, v3, and v4 deployments on Arc, where these versions are already live.

A Snapshot vote is scheduled for September 18-23, after which an on-chain execution will follow if the proposal passes.

Uniswap's protocol fees have been expanding to various networks. They're already active on Ethereum and other chains. The Arc rollout would enable fee accumulation in TokenJar contracts, allowing users to claim those fees by burning UNI tokens.

The cross-chain governance infrastructure needed for this to work involves governance instructions originating from Ethereum and transmitted to Arc via Wormhole infrastructure.
