Uniswap Smashes $71 Billion Monthly Volume Record
Uniswap's dominance in decentralized trading has been reaffirmed by its $71.1 billion monthly volume, which surpasses the combined activity of its three closest competitors.
This figure, tracked by DeFiLlama, highlights Uniswap's grip on the DEX market and reinforces its position as a leading force in the industry.
The protocol's performance is particularly impressive given that its native UNI token hovers near $6.21, with traders weighing technical signals, protocol fee mechanics, and the launch of a new stablecoin pricing tool.
Uniswap's volume is distributed across more than 40 blockchain networks, with activity heavily concentrated on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Robinhood Chain. The latter, launched by trading platform Robinhood, recorded $1.35 billion in aggregate daily DEX transaction volume on September 13.
Version 4 of the protocol is now the primary engine of trading activity, generating about $38 billion of the monthly total, while Version 3 contributes roughly $32 billion and the older version 2 adds another $1.2 billion.
