Uniswap v4 Dominates New Blockchain Networks with Programmable Hooks
Uniswap v4 is at the forefront of decentralized exchange growth, thanks to its ability to adapt quickly to new blockchain networks.
The protocol's fourth version has been successful in capturing volume on two recent examples: Robinhood Chain and Arc. Uniswap's multi-chain strategy continues to expand, with its presence from day one making it a default choice for traders.
The standout feature of Uniswap v4 is its programmable hooks, which allow developers to attach custom logic to liquidity pools. This customization enables pools to charge dynamic fees, enforce rules, and support tokenized real-world assets without building a separate protocol from scratch.
Data shows that on Ethereum, Uniswap v4 has accounted for more than half of the protocol's volume in recent months. On newer networks, hooks have grown from single-digit to double-digit percentages of v4 volume in a matter of weeks during the summer and early fall of 2026.
