Upbit Lists Solana-Based Blockchain Project MetaDAO
South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced the listing of MetaDAO (META2), a Solana-based blockchain project. META2 will be available to users on July 29th in Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) trading pairs.
The deposit and withdrawal operations for META2 will begin within two hours of the announcement's publication, while spot trading is scheduled to start on July 29th at 16:30. Upbit warned that users can only deposit and withdraw funds through the Solana network, as assets sent via different networks may not be supported.
META2 operates with a market-based governance model, evaluating the impact of community proposals on the project through both voting and market price mechanisms. The platform combines fundraising, token launches, and community governance in one on-chain system, using the META2 token for various transactions within the ecosystem.
