US Crypto ETF Inflows Plummet 80% After Record Week
US spot crypto ETF inflows plummeted by 80% on Monday to $64.8 million, after a strong week that saw Bitcoin ETFs alone attract $2.4 billion in net inflows. The decline is largely seen as mean reversion following an unusually strong week.
The $64.8 million combined inflows were spread across four asset categories: Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and XRP. Bitcoin products drew between $31 million and $135 million, while Ether ETFs pulled in $87 million, and Solana and XRP funds added $86.7 million and $21 million respectively.
For the week ending September 25, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of $2.4 billion, pushing year-to-date flows back into positive territory after an earlier stretch of outflows. Cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs now total approximately $57.6 billion, with total net assets across the category hovering around $108 billion.
