US Lawmakers Accused of Insider Trading in MSSE

US lawmakers have been accused of insider trading after recent trades in Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) were revealed.

According to data from Quiver Quantitative, several members of Congress purchased MSSE shares before they rose in value. The trades were made through accounts held by the lawmakers or their spouses.

The data shows that Representative Sean Patrick Maloney bought 7,800 shares at $15.19 per share on January 24th, while his wife sold 2,000 shares at $16.59 per share on February 11th. Representative Tom Emmer purchased 10,400 shares at $14.91 per share on January 30th.

The trades were made through the lawmakers' or their spouses' accounts held by Morgan Stanley, and were reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) within the required timeframe.
