USDC Holders Face Conversion Challenges with Payoneer
USDC holders may face challenges when converting their digital balance to money usable through an established payment account, such as Payoneer. Unlike traditional wallets, USDC is a dollar-pegged digital asset that moves on blockchain networks, while Payoneer operates through financial accounts and payment services.
To explore the conversion path, users should first check if a direct USDC to Payoneer transaction is available. However, this may not be possible due to differences in account types, locations, supported networks, and available Payoneer services.
When no direct route exists, an intermediate conversion may be necessary. This involves exchanging USDC for another cryptocurrency that is supported by the desired Payoneer payout route. For instance, Boomchange currently lists USDT on TRC20 → Payoneer and SOL → Payoneer as exchange pairs.
The blockchain network also plays a crucial role in the conversion process. Since USDC can exist across different networks, users must ensure that their sending and receiving networks are compatible with Payoneer's supported stablecoin networks.
