USDT Liquidity Signals May Be Just What Bitcoin Needs for Q4
Bitcoin's second-best Q3 in history and Ethereum's best Q3 ever might have given investors hope for a continued market upswing, but Q4 still has to prove itself.
The past doesn't bode well: Bitcoin ended both Q4 2024 and Q4 2025 in the red. Ethereum also finished Q4 2024 in the red, while its Q4 2025 quarter was only marginally positive.
However, there's an encouraging liquidity signal emerging from USDT, a popular stablecoin. According to RugaResearch, USDT's 60-day supply change closed September at +$505 million, its first reading above zero in more than three months.
This represents a $450 million monthly increase on average, but the number remains small compared to the $5.7 billion hole seen earlier this summer. The trend is improving, though: the 60-day USDT supply change has been climbing every day since July 29.
